At St. Mary’s Montessori Schools, we wholeheartedly believe in Doctor Maria Montessori's statement, “within the child lies the fate of the future”. We cultivate and instill empathy, love, gratitude, and service in our children, families, and staff members by assisting those in need through collecting items for donations and creating fundraisers which our children, staff, and parents graciously support.
Currently, St. Mary’s Montessori School provides clean water and food to a Montessori School who has over 70 students in a remote community in Sri Lanka.
In the past, the SMMS community has come together to assist California Camp Fire Victims, Veterans, and families from underserved communities by providing goods and services they are in need of. When it comes to the environment, we choose to serve by hosting beach clean-ups and recycling.

Christmas gifts for veterans and supporting the USO 2017
A Tube well is a type of water well in which a long, 100–200 millimetres-wide, stainless steel tube or pipe is bored into an underground aquifer. The lower end is fitted with a strainer, and a pump lifts water for irrigation or in this case to a school located in rural area of Sri Lanka.
