The Meal Program

At St. Mary’s Montessori School, we believe that caring for the whole child means being intentional about every part of their day, including the food that nourishes their growing bodies and minds.

We believe the meals we provide should reflect the same care, respect, and thoughtfulness that guide every other part of the child’s experience at St. Mary’s.

That is why our in-house chefs prepare fresh meals and snacks each day at our school. We prioritize wholesome, thoughtfully selected ingredients, including fresh fruits and vegetables, serve organic milk, and intentionally do not offer juice because of its high sugar content.

Our goal is to provide children with nourishing food that supports their development, gives them the energy they need for meaningful work and exploration, and helps establish healthy habits from an early age.

Because when children are nourished with care, they are better prepared to grow, explore, concentrate, and become increasingly independent.

For the safety of our community, St. Mary’s Montessori School is also a peanut- and nut-free school.
