Assistant Teacher

Hi, I’m Flavia, also known as Via, and I’m thrilled to embark on my journey as an assistant teacher at St. Mary Montessori. I’m passionate about education and dedicated to creating a nurturing, engaging environment where every child feels empowered to learn and grow. Currently, I’m pursuing my education degree at Cal State Fullerton. My coursework and hands-on experiences have given me valuable insights into the best practices in education, and I’m excited to bring this knowledge into my role at St. Mary Montessori. In addition to my academic pursuits, I have meaningful experience working with children at Think Together. This role taught me the importance of patience, creativity, and empathy in education, and it solidified my commitment to fostering a supportive learning atmosphere. Every day spent working with kids has reinforced my belief in the transformative power of education, and I look forward to continuing this journey in my new position. Beyond the classroom, I have a deep love for the arts and the great outdoors. Drawing is one of my favorite ways to express my creativity and to unwind, while hiking allows me to reconnect with nature and draw inspiration from the world around me. These hobbies not only provide a wonderful balance to my professional life but also inspire me to bring fresh, innovative ideas into my teaching. As I step into this exciting new chapter at St. Mary Montessori, I am eager to contribute to an environment where curiosity, creativity, and collaboration flourish. My goal is to help every child feel valued and encouraged to reach their full potential, and I am excited to be a part of this vibrant community.
