Assistant Teacher

Hello! My name is Sandy Phem. Prior to joining St. Mary's Montessori School, I have a bachelor's degree from California State University of Fullerton in Child Development. I have been in the educational field for eight years now. A majority of my experience has been at a school in La Habra, California. During my time there, I have had the opportunity to work alongside with and assist children from the ages of 2 to 12 years old. It has truly been a pleasure and rewarding to help children from all walks of life to thrive. A persons effort to guide and help can have a positive impact on a child's growth. My passion for education continues to grow as I desire to be that help and support for children. My goal as an educator is to support, motivate, nurture, and provide a safe and educational space for children to flourish. On my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love trying new foods, especially if it is spicy. I enjoy a variety of music and I love to dance. I look forward to meeting you and your family!
